Emily was Born and Raised in the Kenner/Metairie (Kenna-bra/Metry) area and attended elementary and high school in NOLA and then went on to attend Tulane University.
Her husband and partner Brandon, grew up in the Metairie and Harahan Area most of his youth and spent many a days running around his family’s restaurant, Mother’s, in downtown New Orleans.

So it’s pretty safe to say that both of them hold a special place in their hearts for NOLA and Louisiana culture. There simply is no other place like it!
